Government of Israel

SHAME ON US!
by Yosef Ben Tzion (Joel Busner)
Executive Director, B'Ahavat Yisrael

Israel

I don’t care if you’ve never met Noam Federman. I don’t care if you agree with his views or not. I do care that he is a Jew in deep trouble and together we can save his life. Noam Federman is rotting in jail after being sentenced to 6 months of administrative detention. His neighbors in the prison are Arab terrorists who don’t stop taunting and threatening him. He is protesting through the only way he can, a liquid fast. All reports show that his health is deteriorating rapidly.

Administrative detention against Jewish citizens of Israel is a disgrace! There is no justifiable need for it. If the authorities really believe that Mr. Federman is guilty of a crime, let the government of Israel behave like the democracy they claim to be and put him on trial! Anyone who is intelligent and honest knows that it is not Mr. Federman's guilt that arouses the Israeli authorities. It is the fact that he is a potential threat to the forced expulsion of Jews from the heartland of the Land of Israel. He is a symbol. Why else would they allow him to attend his daughter’s Bat Mitzvah with his hands cuffed as well as his feet? Where do they think he would run to and hide? They wish to break him. By using him as an example they wish to frighten all opposition to the Road Map.

I ask of you all, I beg of you; don’t sit idly by your brother's blood! Noam Federman is extremely ill. If enough pressure is exerted he will be transferred to a normal facility with Jewish inmates. If tremendous pressure is exerted he will be set free. Mr. Federman's plight is not just a challenge to the religious community. Nor is it just a challenge to the right wing community. His plight is a challenge to all Jews who believe in fairness and justice.

For all of you who have contacts with Israeli officials, pressure them! Anyone who can demonstrate, do so! Letters, faxes, etc, to Shaul Mofaz who signed the order, and to Ariel Sharon who authorizes it all, must be done without cessation. Mr. Federman's name must be mentioned everywhere and anywhere until they are sick of it and release him! Mr. Federman's fate is at stake and G-d forbid, it will be unforgivable for him to perish while all of who could do something didn’t.

The Likud of today is the Labor of yesterday. There are few options to the right or options that are right at all. The Likud, a party whose platform opposes the creation of an Arab state within Israel's borders, its leaders have created havoc among its members.

Ariel Sharon, Silvan Shalom, Ehud Olmert and others, have broken the promises Likud made to the people of Israel who elected them. In response Manhigut Yehudit, a block within the Likud, has threatened to create legislation that will prevent Likud leaders from diverting from its platform. Moshe Feiglin leads this group and encourages those who voted or would vote for Likud, to support his block.

The left of Israel continues to be headed by Tommy Lapid, a self-hating clown who has gained support by simply venting his disgust with religious Jews. Many leftist in Israel, see the religious Jews as being the cause of their inability to assimilate into Western society smoothly as they would like to.

Venomous leaders such as Beilin, Sarid and Peres continue to work behind the curtain to bring about destruction to the Jewishness of our State, and transform Israel into a Western banana republic. Well, Israel is a banana republic, but there are Jews in Israel who are still proud of their heritage and submit entirely to the living God of Israel. There are also the non-religious Jews who still maintain the vision of the Zionist ideal. They find themselves supporting Michael Kleiner, chairman of Herut. Truth be said, also religious Jews find them selves supporting Herut. They too understand that the religious parties in Israel have been disappointing (to say the least), and groups such as Kach and Kahane Chai continue to be banned in Israel's democracy.

Kleiner is today's Jabotisnky. Not particularly a religious Jew, but one who is genuinely concerned with the welfare of the nation. One who has a clear vision and understanding of the demographic catastrophe that is befalling our Jewish State. Just as Jabotisnky was booed and rejected in Europe when he warned about the genocide approaching, so has Kleiner suffered rejection by those who felt more 'intellectual and realistic' by voting for Likud.

There are thousands upon thousands of young boys and girls in the streets of Gaza, Jenin, Tulkarem, Qualquilya, Ramallah, Schechem, Hebron, Um Al-Fahm, and Beit Lehem among others; and they want to fight for what they believe is theirs. Not for a piece of Israel, and not for some distorted map of the West Bank with a road to Gaza, but fight to the death for the entire land of Palestine and the rule of Islam. Any Jew that fails to see the incoming wave of terror from them is as blind as the Jew who claimed to be more German that the Germans and never saw death coming. Deep in the gas chambers, surrounded by religious and non-religious Jews, by poor and rich, intellectuals and ignorant, the Nazis killed them all without distinction; just like a Palestinian bomber in a bus. We are all the same in the eyes of those who hate us.

Open your eyes. The time has come to return to the days of the Irgun and Lehi. The time has come to fight back and to scream proudly the words of Rabbi Kahane: "Never Again!!" And thus we will achieve Herut: Freedom!

Never Again!

Enough peace talk

News from Israel and the Muslim world

What will it take for Israelis and Americans to understand you can't negotiate with terrorists? How much innocent blood needs to be spilled before we acknowledge the "peace process" has failed? How many more little children and old people have to be blown up by evil suicidal maniacs before we say, "Enough is enough!"

These are the questions going through my mind a day after the latest terrorist attacks in Jerusalem and Baghdad.

Since the beginning of the Oslo Accords in 1993, Israel has fulfilled all of its commitments to peace:

It has given the Palestinian Authority control over territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip (containing 98% of the Palestinian people, ME Editor);

It has dismantled Jewish communities on historically Jewish lands;

It has released prisoners who have been convicted of committing terrorist acts against the Jewish state;

It has used its schools and its media to promote peace and harmony with the Arabs ? even long-time terrorist adversaries such as Yasser Arafat;

It has provided arms and ammunition to the Palestinian police force ? really an army sworn to destroy Israel;

It has continued to negotiate in good faith with its adversaries despite an increase in terrorism;

It has placed itself in a position, through land concessions, where its own military authorities are no longer certain it can defend its national security;

It has proposed, for the sake of peace, even greater compromises ? even offering part of its own sacred capital city to the Arabs;

Long before that, Israel even gave administrative authority to its enemies over the holiest site in Judaism ? the Temple Mount.

What has Israel received in return? Bloodshed. Nothing else. The more Israel gives, the more violence it experiences at the hands of its enemies. This is the truth about the so-called "cycle of violence" we hear about from Washington. Israel concedes, Israel bleeds.

It's time to stop this madness.

The U.S. has sent troops around the world to answer terrorism that came to its shores Sept. 11, 2001. The U.S. has overthrown two governments and occupies two nations halfway around the world in its war on those who attacked it.

Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to demand Israel show restraint in the face of these continuing, unrelenting attacks from terrorists amidst its civilian population ? identifiable enemies operating within the country and from the neighboring territory Israel gave its enemies in a desperate search for peace.

There are no two sides to this story. Not any longer. This is right vs. wrong. The only solution now is to put a stop to the terrorist violence once and for all.

Mahmoud Abbas, sometimes known by his "war name," Abu Mazen, told a U.S. senator this week Arafat is undermining him as prime minister of the Palestinian Authority. He admits he doesn't have control. This proves we're back to where we've always been in the conflict ? Arafat the terrorist is calling the shots.

It's time for Washington to unleash Israel.

Israel's only real leverage with its enemies is its war machine. It is what has kept Israel alive for the last 55 years. It is the one thing that can preserve the tiny bastion of real freedom in the Middle East.

I say this not because I love Israel, but because I love freedom ? because I love America.

This country is in a fight for its life against the forces of darkness in this world. We can prevail only with consistency, fortitude and by doing what is right.

The right thing to do is to be consistent, to be strong. That means abandoning the failed policies of the past. That means having one standard that applies equally to the U.S. and to Israel, which is in a far more precarious and desperate fight for its life.

palestinian children
This picture was taken October 2003. It's good to know that some things never change!!

*****

Where are the parents of these children? Would you let your kids go out to throw rocks at Jewish men, women adn children?

'Palestinians' couldn't care less about their children. They glorify those who blow themselves up just to kill a few Jews. Westerners have a very hard time understanding Muslim extremist mentality, but as US casualties rise (may God protect them), they are begining to get the picture.

To stop the killing there is only one solution: Transfer the Arabs of Israel back into Jordan!! If they tell you this is not a realistic alternative, it is so only because YOU are not endorsing it!
Thank you Dovid for your contribution.
